“Eh? How should I know?” Kota answered, fed himself with a small slice of moist chocolate cake.

“Just guess,” Yuya urged Kota.

Kota didn’t answer, not looking at Yuya and kept eating.

“How about you, Inoo?” Hikaru asked as he was siting beside Kei.

Kei turned to Hikaru, in blurred.

“About what?” Kei asked, looking seriously at Hikaru. What had he missed?

“About Kairi-san and Kamenashi-kun,” Hikaru explained and sighed. Kei didn’t listen to their conversation at all. What was he thinking about?

“Kairi-san and Kamenashi-kun?” Kei became more confused.

“It’s okay. Just continue eating your cakes,” Hikaru was annoyed and continued eating.

Kei continued eating, drowned into his thought again. That night, in the elevator, at first he thought he was winning but when Aoki shed her tears, he knew he lost.

“Yeah, I’m not good in acting but at least I continue my study to the university. At least if I fail in this industry I can become something else. Plus, knowledge is lot more valued that those stupid money and fame. I’m not like someone who never attends high school for acting. Such a stupid girl. When you are wrinkled someday, you will be penniless.” Kei answered in anger. He even stood up, showing the level of his anger.

Aoki didn’t answer. She looked down, holding her fist tightly.

The elevator light starting to brighten the dark elevator, a sign of it was functioning. It started moving and Aoki quickly stood up.

“You know nothing so stay away from my life!” Aoki shouted with tears flowing through her eyes.

Kei was surprised, he didn’t mean to make her cried. He was frozen, not knowing what to do.

The elevator started opening and Aoki quickly slipped out of it while Kei still not moving in the elevator.

Kei sighed, looking at the cakes on his plate.

Meanwhile, opposite the road, Kazuya released Kairi. His phone was ringing. He picked it up while Kairi waited.

“I need to go,” Kazuya said after pulling back the phone from his ear.

Kairi nodded her head, understood. She wiped her wetted cheeks and smiled, waving to Kazuya.

Kazuya smiled and walked away.

Kota looked at the incident with a serious look. His heart telling him to hate the situation but he didn’t know why.

“Did anyone tell Kairi that tonight we won’t be home for dinner?” Arioka asked. He didn’t want the girls wasted their energy for nothing.

“Not me,” Hikaru said, slurping the blackcurrant drink.

“I will,” Kota reacted to the question. He knew no one would do it.

“As expected as the oldest,” Yuya said, clapping his hands.

Kei looked at Yuya, noticing the claps. He missed something again. He should stop the thinking about the elevator’s incident but he couldn’t. To be honest, he felt guilty.

Hikaru looked at Kei. What he was thinking?

Kairi was walking home. Someone should take care of Rin. She didn’t cook lunch today. She wondered how the girls survive without lunch. Suddenly, her phone sounded. Her hand slipped into her pant’s pocket and took out the phone.

We won’t be home for dinner because of work. -Yabu Kota-

Kairi laughed. For that moment, she suddenly felt like a wife. That was the first time Kota mailed her. Should she reply? She shook head. No need for that. She didn’t want to waste the money for phone’s bill so she placed the phone back into her pocket. She never knew that her bad habit created a fuss at others.

“Ahh, now is working time,” Yuya said, stretching his hands towards the sky.

“Let’s go,” Arioka said cheerfully.

“Do you like work that much?” Hikaru said, reacted to Arioka.

“Eh? Isn’t it exciting?” Arioka replied.

“Yes but tiring,” Kei suddenly replied and sighed. He had decided.

Hikaru smiled. This was the first time Kei reacted since last night. Hikaru turned to Kota. He acted weirdly since they were in the cake shop. He sighed. What happened to his two bestfriends?

Kota kept patting the phone in his pocket. He was waiting for a reply.

“Ko-chan,” Hikaru called his name happily.

“Huh? What?” Kota asked, turned to Hikaru.

“Nothing, it is fun to call you that way,” Hikaru answered and started clinging to Kota. Kota wanted to avoid but he was too slow.

The other boys were laughing looking at the two. Hikaru always angry if someone called they were couple or husband and wife but his action towards Kota obviously showed.

Kairi opened the door of Rin’s room. She was awaked. She was told that she had eaten bread with mushroom soup made by Jart and Sakura while Hotaru was keeping an eye on Rin. She smiled. She knew she could leave her to them.

Rin sat up from lying, looked at Kairi who was walking towards her and sat at the side of her bed.

“How are you?” Kairi asked, smiling.

“Better,” Rin replied, smiling.

“I’m glad you are getting better,” Kairi patted Rin’s shoulder and stood up, thinking of helping the other girls with the chores.

“Kairi,” Rin suddenly called.

Kairi turned to Rin, waiting.

“I’m sorry,” Rin said, looking down towards her comforter.

“For what?” Kairi asked, confused.

“I... Ryosuke...” Rin didn’t know how to arrange her words. She wanted to make it simple and clear.
Kairi didn’t say anything, still waiting.

“Don’t get me wrong, I and him didn’t do anything.” Rin suddenly panicked when she didn’t know how to continue her words.

“I know, I trust both of you,” Kairi answered and walked out of the room.

Rin blurred. Did Kairi know the truth? Didn’t she get suspicious? How she knew it? CCTV? It’s impossible. Ryosuke’s room was one of their rooms as it was in the first floor. Ah! This room had a CCTV. It was a guest room, supposed to be a guest room. She sighed. She didn’t remember anything. When she was awaked, she was lying on her bed while Aoki and Sakura were still sleeping. She didn’t have time to think why as he quickly dozed off. Kairi probably saw what was happening at that time.

Kairi phone sounded when she was out of the room. She took it out and ‘1 new mail’ appeared on the screen. She clicked.

Make something for us tonight as you don’t serve us any food for today. We’ll be back at 11. –Yabu Kota-
