Author's note: This is for Machi's birthday actually but a lot of things happen that prevent me from posting it on 23rd April. Gomen T.T The idea is random. So there is no real plot~

Summary:A group was waiting for a signal for them to start their mission while a girl in that group was watching an Anime movie.





“Can you stop looking at the laptop? We are waiting for a signal,” One of the 5 people in the dark warehouse told her.

She looked at the owner of the voice coldly and turned back to the laptop.

“Number 6, please advice number 5,” This time he asked for a help from a guy who was leaning his back at the corner of the square.

“Let her be,” He replied, not looking at the guy who asked him.

She chuckled.

“Ji Yong, want to watch it with me?” She asked, smiling to the guy who claimed to be number six.

“What do you watch?” Ji Yong replied unemotionally, walking towards the girl.

“An anime movie,” She replied cheerfully, happy with Ji Yong’s reaction.

“Hmm,” Ji Yong hummed unfeelingly, sitting beside the girl.

At the outskirt of the town, there was an orphanage. There lived 2 children, a very small amount for an orphanage.

“Good morning, Onew,” The young boy said, sitting at one of the seat of a dinner table, looking at a man who was serving the breakfast.

Onew looked at the boy coldly and instantly turned to the kitchen.

“You make him angry again, Siwon,” A girl came from the back of Siwon and sat beside him.

“He needs a girlfriend to calm him,” Siwon replied, holding himself, acting cool.

“Eh? But isn’t Machi is his girlfriend,” The girl replied, looking at the corner of the room where a cage of a hamster placed.

“She is a hamster, Yui,” He answered, patting the girl’s head, smiling.

“Stop acting like an adult, Siwon,” Onew suddenly appeared and sat at the head of the table.

“You too Onew although you are the oldest here,” Siwon replied, not looking.

Onew too was looking away, he didn’t want to waste his energy on this small kid.

“Siwon, you will make brother mad again,” Yui said to Siwon.

Suddenly, the door of the building was knocked. Onew stood up but Siwon had rushed towards the door. He opened it and saw a young woman holding a cage was standing before him. Onew who was watching, widen his eyes.

“Good morning,” She said to the small child in front her and patted his head gently.

“LK 11... No! Hotaru... What do you want?” Onew suddenly pushed Siwon and stood in front him, protecting him.

“I just want to give someone a present,” She answered, smiling.

Onew didn’t reply and looked at the woman fiercely.

“It’s okay, Roman doesn’t know anything about this,” She said, no longer smiling.

“Don’t ever utter the name of that rotten organization here,” He said loudly, still looking at the woman ferociously.

“Yui, come here. I have a present for your birthday,” She ignored Onew and bended down when Yui came to her slowly.

Onew didn’t prevent Yui from coming. He sensed that this woman didn’t bring any weapon. He sighed. What was her intention?

“Here,” Hotaru gave the little girl the cage that she held.

“It is a male hamster. Its name is Hyun Joong,” She explained while Yui kept staring at the hamster.

“It can be Machi boyfriend,” She said happily after a while staring at the hamster and quickly rushed to her hamster’s cage.

“It’s been a while, Onew,” Hotaru said, standing up, looking at the man.

“Yes,” Onew answered and walked towards the dinner table.

“Sis, are you Onew’s girlfriend?” Siwon asked, holding her blouse.

Hotaru looked at the young boy with a surprise and chuckled.

“Thank you, Machi likes Hyun Joong,” Yui suddenly came to her and pulled her towards the dinner table.

“Oi! You are interrupting my conversation with her,” Siwon said to Yui but he didn’t block her from pulling the woman.

Yui showed her tongue to Siwon and looked away.

Siwon held himself and looked away.

Hotaru was smiling, looking at the children’s behaviour.

“You can have your breakfast here,” Onew said coldly and took another plate and utensils set.

Hotaru smiled and sat opposite Onew. The breakfast was filled with laughter from Yui and Siwon but there was a hidden silent between Onew and Hotaru.

After the breakfast, they let the little children played outside the building.

“Come Yui, I’ll find it for you,” Siwon said, pulling Yui’s hand away.

“Wait, where are you going?” Onew asked worriedly.

Hotaru looked intensely at Onew and smiled. He changed.

“To look for the rainbow pigeon,” Siwon answered, not stopping.

Onew quickly held the little boy hand to stop him. Siwon instantly turned to him. He hated it when adult meddled in his matter.

“For what?” Onew asked seriously.

“For Yui’s birthday,” Siwon answered confidently, looking at Onew, determined.

“You...” Onew couldn’t continue when Hotaru suddenly held his shoulder. He turned to the smiling Hotaru.

“How about we come along? I really want to see the rainbow pigeon,” Hotaru said gently to the little boy, bending.

“It is really beautiful,” Yui suddenly answered and nodded her head vigorously.

Siwon looked at Yui and sighed. He didn’t want to fight with Yui today since it was her birthday although he strongly disagreed with the decision.

Onew looked at Hotaru coldly while she was smiling to him.

“You don’t have to thank me,” Hotaru said to Onew while walking inside the forest.

“I never have that intention,” Onew answered, looking away, showing he was irritated.

“Shhh,” Siwon suddenly warned them and suddenly laid down. Yui was doing the same too.

Hotaru and Onew looked at each other. They did the same and saw a colourful pigeon. The colour mixed from its head to tail. Both of them never thought that the pigeon exist.

“I’ll catch it. Wait here,” Siwon whispered to Yui while Yui nodded her head, looking at Siwon in his eyes with trust.

Siwon walked slowly toward the bird and once he confident, he quickly snatched it. However, his hands slipped and the bird flew away. Siwon looked down, upset.

“It’s okay, we’ll search for another,” Hotaru said, trying to cheer him, walking towards the little boy.

Onew also walked towards him while Yui stood up, not moving, looking intensely at Siwon.

“It is impossible to find another one,” Siwon said, still looking down, obviously showed his feeling.

“The pigeon steps on the ground only once a day,” Onew suddenly said.

“That’s why I say another one,” Hotaru tried convincing them.

Siwon shook his head.

“It’s impossible,” He said again.

“The legend says, once you see it, you will not see it for a whole month,” Onew said coldly. He felt that he won although there was no battle or bet. He looked at Siwon and sighed. However, letting a child upset was not his style.

Hotaru was saddened by Onew’s act. She sighed.

“I had bought a cake last night, let’s eat it today,” Onew said, trying to cheer them up.

Hotaru looked at Onew with a shock. He was trying to cheer the children. She smiled and patted the boys’ shoulder.

“Yeah, I had brought cookies too. Let’s celebrate,” Hotaru said, trying to help Onew.

However, there was no response from Siwon.

“It’s beautiful,” Yui suddenly said from her place and started strolling towards Siwon.

Hotaru and Onew looked at each other and smiled. Maybe Yui was the best healer for Siwon.

Yui touched Siwon’s hand and pulled out a feather. Siwon looked up, looking straight into Yui’s eyes. He almost cried but he knew he couldn’t cry in front of Yui. Never!

“Thank you for this,” Yui said, placing the feather at her ear and smiled.

“You look cute,” Hotaru said, correcting the position of the feather.

“You are welcome,” Siwon said cheerfully and smiled to his ears.

That night, they made a small party for four of them. Hotaru stayed until the children slept. She lastly stood at the veranda, looking at the moon.

“What are you doing here?” Onew suddenly came out from her back.

Hotaru smirked.

“Didn’t I have told you?” Hotaru said, smiling.

Onew didn’t look at her and watched the bright full moon.

Hotaru sighed and looked away from the man.

“I quit Roman,” She said, leaning her waist at the veranda fence.

“I see,” Onew answered coldly, still looking at the moon.

“Why you the legendary Roman’s agent suddenly stay here?” Hotaru asked sarcastically.

Onew smirked.

“I just want to be free,” Onew answered and turned facing the building, leaning his back to the fence.

“I come to see you,” Hotaru uttered softly, looking down.

Onew looked at her, approached her and forced her to look into his eyes.

“I was waiting for you,” Onew whispered.

Hotaru quickly hugged him and cried.

“You cruel for leaving me alone in that place,” Hotaru said in tears.

Onew smiled and hugged her back.

“I couldn’t finish my mission so I have to leave,” Onew answered.

“To protect the children?” Hotaru asked, looked into Onew eyes once again.

Onew nodded his head.

“I couldn’t kill them,” Onew said with a sad tone.

“I’ll help you protecting them,” Hotaru eagerly said.

“It’s dangerous,” Onew warned.

Hotaru smiled and kissed him. Onew was frozen. However, after a while, he replied the kiss.

“Finish,” The girl said, stretching her both hands.

“Don’t you think the story is similar to us?” The girl said to Ji Yong.

“No, it different,” Ji Yong said, stood up from his seat.

“Number six, the signal,” One man suddenly entered the warehouse.

Ji Yong nodded his head, looking at every eye in around him and they instantly rushed out of the warehouse. Ji Yong rushed towards the entrance with his gun and turned back.

“Number five, faster,” Ji Yong said to the girl who was still picking up her things and rushing towards Ji Yong.

“Can you call me by my name?” The girl said, sweating, rushing out of the warehouse, following the others.

Ji Yong smirked.
