“Good evening,” Kibum greeted her politely. She walked to his side at sat on another swing beside him. Kibum didn’t let go his eyes on her. Her hair was blowing softly from the summer night wind. She had grown a lot and prettier than the last time he saw her. It had been 5 years since then, when they were parted.

“Welcome home,” Her voice suddenly heard. He started noticing that he had stared her for too long.

“I’m back,” Kibum answered and smiled. Yes, he felt delighted hearing the words. He was home, at last.

“Although, I don’t have any home or anyone here,” He continued, looking into her dark eyes. They were sparkling even though the surrounding was dark.

“You’re wrong. There is at least someone waiting for you,” She said, replying in a low voice.

Kibum watched her, stood up from the swing and strolled slowly towards her, making her looked upwards. He placed his right thumb on her left cheek, wiping the tears and repeated for her right cheek.

Kazumi quickly nodded down to hide her tears although it was obvious. She didn’t even notice that she was crying.

“I guess I get too emotional for our first meeting after so long,” Kazumi spoke, slightly trembling, wiping her own tears as it got worse.

Kibum didn’t know what to do to comfort her. The more she wiped her tears the more it formed and wetted her cheek. He kneed and gently held both of her hands to stop her from wiping her tears so he could look into her eyes.

Kazumi looked directly at his eyes. She wanted to look away but it fixed there as if they were glued to each other.

“I... want to meet you,” Kazumi spoke, breaking the soundless moment.

Kibum instantly took her in his hold, patting her hair softly.

“I miss you,” Kibum whispered softly beside her ear, closing his eyes to fully feel the moment, the emotion in his heart and her in his hold.

Kazumi was surprised. They never hugged before even as a kid. This was the first and she hoped it won’t be the last. Slowly, her lips curved to a smile and replied the hug. She was happy and she could not deny it and would not deny it.

After a while, Kazumi calmed down. Kibum offered her his hand and she took it gladly. They went for a walk.

“How is your grandmother?” Kazumi asked, remembering the old gentle face that she once saw when she took Kibum to Korea after his mother’s death.

“She passed away 3 years ago,” Kibum answered without looking at her but tightening the hold of their hand.

“I’m sorry,” Kazumi felt sorry for Kibum. As far as she remembered, she was his only family.

“I’ve gotten through it. How is your mother?” Kibum asked back, changing topic to avoid her from feeling guilty.

“Fine, I’m here today to meet her,” Kazumi replied, smiling.

“So right now, I’m illegally taking her time with you,” Kibum raised one of his eye brows.

Kazumi chuckled. Kibum was always with something to cheer her up.

“She doesn’t even know it. My plan is to surprise her but I guess I have to postpone it tomorrow,” Kazumi spoke, with a very joyful face.

“Why? It is still early. Oh, please don’t use me as your reason,” Kibum smirked naughtily.

“Why not?” Kazumi asked, widening her eyes.

“Because I don’t want to be a criminal,” Kibum answered, laughing lightly to her question.

“You are a criminal since you took me illegally right now,” Kazumi punched his shoulder lightly with her other hand.

“Is that my punishment? Then I would always love to be a criminal,” Kibum answered, looking at the happy her enjoying the walk.

“Oh please stop, Key. You’ve make me laugh since then,” Kazumi said, laughing and tried to cover it.

Key, it had been a long time since he heard that name. In Korea, everyone called him with his real name. The person who used to call him by that name was his mother and then Kazumi as his childhood friend. He thought he would never hear it again. Unconsciously, he smiled.

“I guess I’ve to bring you for my surprise,” Kazumi spoke after she stopped laughing.

Kibum didn’t reply. He turned to Kazumi but his eyes were looking away.

“You’ve changed,” Kibum said, trying to look into her eyes but he turned away after few seconds.

“You too,” Kazumi replied, running her eyes away from Kibum.

“I hope it is not a bad change,” Kibum said, smiling, not looking at her.

“No, it’s not,” Kazumi replied, looking at her steps downwards.

“Where did you go Kazumi?” Kibum asked gently. In sudden, the atmosphere changed.

“Searching for you,” Kazumi replied. They stopped and looked at each other.

“Just for that, you left your mother?” Kibum held her other hand.

“No, she forces me to run after my dream,” Kazumi replied, smiling. She knew Kibum would feel guilty if he was the reason.

“Do you find it?” Kibum asked, anxious.

Kazumi nodded kindly and smiled.

“And I found you,” Kazumi said, with her smiling eyes.

Kibum replied the smiled and they continued walking in silent. However, the silent was never awkward and they enjoyed it.

Jart was looking through the glasses of the shops as she walked along the street. She was wearing a bright brown tube and an almost transparent cream blouse for the top. A grey three quarter fit pant for the bottom and a simple yet fascinating dark brown sandal. She stopped in front of the glass that attracted her and it was shoes, a wedges.

Hiroki saw her was walking along the street opposite him. He was the one who arranged the meeting and now he was late. When he noticed that she was staring at a wedges, he knew how to make it up.

Jart turned away from the thing that fascinated her just now and decided to look around. She had feeling that he was near or it was just her pure imagination. She looked down and thought probably she was too anxious to meet him so she started imagining things. She turned back to the glasses. Maybe she should have a try on it and if it fit her she will buy it. She turned around to the entrance and suddenly bumped with someone who just walked out.

“I’m sorry,” He heard the voice from a girl that he should be meeting a half hour before.

“I’m the one should be sorry,” Hiroki said and at the same time their eyes met. It stayed for a moment.

“You’re late,” Jart said, started to turned away from him.

“Actually I’m early but I was attracted to something when I arrived here. I think it probably will suit you so I was busy choosing,” Hiroki gave excuse which obviously a lie.

“I wonder what is that something,” Jart replied as if she knew nothing, an innocent voice.

“I’ll let you see it but not here,” Hiroki said, winking his right eye.

“Why not here?” She asked, making a weird expression to reply his winking.

Hiroki didn’t answer but he smirked. Jart became more uneasy but she decided not to ask more. There more she asked the more ridiculous Hiroki would become.

“Let get to the true business,” Jart said, avoiding the unnecessary talk.

“Okay, let’s find a place to sit first,” Hiroki suggested.

“There is a cafe at the end on this street,” Hiroki continued.

“Let’s go,” Jart replied and started to follow Hiroki steps to the cafe that he mentioned.

Hiroki pulled the chair for Jart, a style of gentleman which he love to do. He sat opposite her and smiled. A waiter came and asked for their order. Jart ordered for chocolate milkshake while Hiroki chose warm cappuccino.

“What’s the matter?” Jart asked as soon as the waiter was out of sight.

“I need your help,” Hiroki said in a serious tone.

“My help?” She asked unbelief.

“Yes, for a new serum. You see the current one is not strong enough,” Hiroki bit his inner lip.

“Liar,” Jart stated one sharp word.

“I’ve analysed it. It’s not for normal human, it’s specialised for a very weak immunity system or precisely, someone who have non antibody.” Jart protested.

“So, you’ve figured it out,” Hiroki said teasingly.

“Have you ever asked why you all must take that serum?” Hiroki suddenly sound like a bad guy.

“Yes, I do. I would be lying if I say no. However, my mum have passed away when I figure it out,” Jart said, looking down, playing with her fingers.

“Why not you ask my dad?” Hiroki looked intensely at her, waiting for her response. He started to like the situation where he acted as an interviewer.

“I can’t. I know he won’t tell me,” Jart replied, not noticed that Hiroki was looking at her as she kept looking down.

“If I say I know what you want to know, what will you do for me?” Hiroki asked in a serious tone.

Jart instantly looked up, eyes widening and saw how intense he watched her.
